Prontera Culvert Memorial Dungeon is accessible from Base Level 59 through the Culvert Manager NPC at prt_fild05 coordinates (264, 208), outside the standard Prontera sewer entrance. This memorial dungeon features two difficulty modes: Normal and Hard, each providing distinct reward tables.
The core mechanic revolves around Ancient Thief Bug Eggs scattered throughout the dungeon. Players must clear these eggs during progression, and destroying enough of them summons the Ancient Golden Thief Bug MVP. For the bonus chest reward, clear the remaining Thief Bug Eggs around the boss before defeating it.
Normal Mode rewards include Boots and Ring pieces from the Grade IV Subjugation Team equipment set. Hard Mode adds Shimmering Opal and refinement materials. Both modes feed into the broader memorial dungeon crafting system detailed in the Memory Craftsman's Workshop and Subjugation Team equipment progression on Midgard Hub.

The Culvert Manager NPC creates the memorial dungeon instance. Entry requires a party. Confirm the current Global entry format on official channels — older Zero references used party-based entry, but Global mechanics may differ.
Ancient Thief Bug Eggs (Core Mechanic)
Ancient Thief Bug Eggs must be destroyed during dungeon progression. Clearing the required number summons Ancient Golden Thief Bug. For the bonus chest, clear all eggs in the boss arena before defeating the MVP.
Ancient Golden Thief Bug (MVP)
The dungeon boss. Destroying surrounding Thief Bug Eggs before defeating Ancient Golden Thief Bug awards the bonus chest with enhanced loot. Crusaders with Holy conversion handle the boss effectively; ranged DPS should clear eggs first.
Subjugation Team Equipment (Normal Mode)
Normal Mode rewards Boots and Ring pieces from the Grade IV Subjugation Team set. Reward quantities scale with party size — older Zero references list 0–2 drops normally and 1–3 with a party of 7 or more. Verify Global party-size scaling on launch.
Hard Mode Rewards
Hard Mode adds Shimmering Opal and refinement materials to the reward pool. The difficulty increase makes Hard Mode most viable for organized parties at Base Level 70+.
- Always clear Thief Bug Eggs before killing the MVP — the bonus chest requires all arena eggs destroyed first.
