Create a GNJOY account
Register on the official Ragnarok Zero: Global website with a GNJOY account, then download the PC client from roz.mygnjoy.com. Live servers opened August 18, 2026 at 00:00 UTC (08:00 Philippine time). ROZ is PC-only — there is no mobile client for this global service.
Understand the Game Pass model
ROZ uses a monthly Game Pass (roughly ~$11 / regional equivalents) instead of heavy pay-to-win cash shops. New players usually get a short free trial — confirm access before long grind sessions so you are not locked out mid-route.
Pick a forgiving first class
Knight (Swordsman) is the safest launch farmer. Mage clears fast at range. Hunter kites well for Auto-Hunt. Finalize builds before Base Level 40 when free resets usually end.
Buy early survival tools
Stock Fly Wings for emergency escapes, Concentration or Awakening Potions for attack speed, healing items, and teleport tools. One death costs 10% Base EXP — insurance is cheaper than reruns.
Follow main quests, then mission boards
Main story quests are the fastest early EXP spine. When you hit quest level walls (often around 20 and 30), clear town mission boards, then grind efficient maps like Parasite or Flora before returning to story.
Push Job Level toward 50
Second jobs arrive on September 3, 2026. Keep job EXP moving with quests and kills — sitting on a lazy farm that starves job progression will lock you out of the patch.
Enable Auto-Hunt only in safe zones
Official Auto-Hunt is legal and strong for AFK loops, but aggressive monsters can still kill you. Clear maps manually first, set loot filters, and keep Fly Wings on a hotkey.
