Second Jobs — September 3, 2026
Gravity pulled 2nd Jobs forward from October 29 to September 3 after player demand. You have about two weeks after launch to finish Job 50.
Last updated: September 3, 2026
Ragnarok Zero: Global launched with the six classic first-job lines only. The original public roadmap put second jobs on October 29. After the Bangkok media showcase and player feedback, Gravity Game Unite moved the patch to September 3, 2026 — roughly two weeks after the August 18 live date. The Class 2 update introduces 13 jobs across the six base lines.
That window is short. Treat Job Level 50 as a launch-week objective, not a September surprise. Main quests, mission boards, and mixed Auto-Hunt still feed base EXP, but job EXP comes from kills and quests too — do not park on a map that starves job progression.
War of Emporium is scheduled in the same September beat. Classes that party well (Priest, Knight) will be in demand the moment 2nd Jobs and castle times overlap. Finalize stats and skill trees before Base 40 while resets are still free.
Knight / Crusader
Swordsman lines stay the safest launch farmers. Knight remains the default for new accounts heading into WoE prep; Crusader is the support-tank fork if your guild already has enough AoE.
Wizard / Sage
Mage clears Flora and story walls fastest before the patch. Wizard keeps that AoE identity; Sage is the utility fork that benefits more once Ascension skill lists are live.
Hunter / Bard / Dancer
Archer into Hunter is the Auto-Hunt favorite — kiting plus teleport-on-aggro makes overnight loops safer than melee while you push Job 50. Bard and Dancer are the party-buff fork; they shine once you already have a guild that will sit with you.
Assassin / Rogue
Thief into Assassin hits hard per SP once geared, but early deaths are expensive. Rogue is the utility/strip fork. Do not force either line unless you already have Fly Wing discipline.
Blacksmith / Alchemist
Merchant into Blacksmith is slower combat and stronger zeny. Alchemist is the potion/homunculus fork. If you enjoy vending and refine markets, start now so craft demand around 2nd Jobs does not leave you behind.
Priest / Monk
Acolyte into Priest is the September social pick. Solo EXP is slower; party and MVP Raid value is the highest in the launch roster. Monk is the melee-burst fork. Guilds will recruit Priests first for WoE.
- Aim to sit at Job 50 before September 3 even if base level is still climbing — the job change is the gate, not max base.
- Spend the remaining free reset window (typically below Base 40) on a build you still want after 2nd Job, not a throwaway OBT habit.
- Keep a stack of Fly Wings and attack-speed potions through the patch week — crowded maps and new skill tests raise death risk.
- Read official patch notes the day 2nd Jobs land; skill coefficients and quest NPCs can shift from Korean or Taiwan Zero memory.
