Build Principles

  • Max one core damage skill before spreading points — weak spreads slow leveling dramatically.
  • Prioritize PvM for your first character; farming efficiency funds later experiments.
  • Keep attack-speed potions active while manually grinding — faster kills mean fewer deaths under the 10% penalty.
  • Free stat/skill resets are typically available below Level 40 — finalize before Zell Star costs kick in.
  • Check Ascension plans before investing heavily in niche skills you may replace later.
  • OBT2 class picks were Thief 23%, Archer 20%, Mage 19%, Acolyte 15%, Swordsman 14%, Merchant 9% — popularity is not the same as launch-week safety. Knight and Hunter still forgive more deaths.
