How to spend the first days on the live August 18 servers — trial, Job 50, rankings, and not lighting Zeny on fire.

Ragnarok Zero: Global has been live since August 18, 2026 (00:00 UTC). By day three (August 21), the useful question is how you spend the remaining trial window, the Job 50 clock to September 3, and a launch economy that Auto-Hunt is already flooding with drops.
Gravity built this window around a Job 50 gate. Second jobs were pulled forward from October 29 to September 3. Sitting at a comfortable Base 40 on a map that starves job EXP will lock you out of the patch. Main quests, mission boards, and mixed Auto-Hunt still matter, but job level is the countdown.
Launch events stack on top of that grind: daily login, playtime tracks, per-class rankings with exclusive wings, and the Music & Art Challenge through September 30. Treat cosmetics as optional. Fly Wings, attack-speed potions, and a guild whose timezone matches yours are not.
Spend the three-day trial on purpose
Use the free window to test death-penalty feel, Auto-Hunt safety, and whether your class still feels good after two late nights. Buy Game Pass after that — not because a storefront countdown looks scary. OBT pass buyers were promised extra free days when live started; confirm yours in the client before stacking a 12-month bundle.
Job 50 before September 3
The first live cap is built around level 50. Second jobs land on September 3. Park on maps that feed both Base and Job EXP. A pretty Flora loop that only ticks Base will waste the two-week window.
Class ranking vs safe farming
Showcase materials promised top-three rewards in each of the six base classes, including exclusive wings. That board is for people who already have Fly Wing discipline. If you are still dying to Parasite packs, you are paying 10% EXP for someone else’s cosmetic.
Daily login and playtime
Web check-in and in-game playtime tracks handed costumes and consumables from pre-registration through launch. Log the official event page once a day. Do not chase third-party “claim all rewards” sites.
Watch the Auto-Hunt market
Overnight farms dump cards, mats, and random-Option weapons into vend. Prices from day one are not prices from day ten. Sell junk, keep Complete-Rune bait, and do not buy a +7 “launch special” until you have compared two vendors.
Try Battlefield before WoE
Battlefield mode is live at launch. Farm GvG crafting mats now if your guild plans to compete in September — do not wait for castle hours to learn the loop.
UI scale 100% to 205%
OBT players asked for readable UI. Launch clients let you enlarge the interface independently of resolution, up to 205%. Set this before you bind Fly Wings — a tiny hotkey bar on a 4K monitor is how people die.
- Join a guild in your timezone this week. WoE is on the September calendar; empty guilds will not magically fill on castle day.
- Claim Music & Art Challenge info if you actually produce work — grand prize is 100,000 KP plus 12 months of Game Pass, deadline September 30.
- Raise UI scale, set Auto-Hunt loot filters, and bind Fly Wings before your first overnight session.
- If a site sells “launch ranking wings” or “Baby Shark packs” off GNJOY, close the tab.
